Hello guys!
Today it will be the last part of my adventure in Bali.
It will be about food, drinks and balinese specialities. As you might know, very typical for a lot
of Asian are coconuts. Similar as it was on Sri Lanka, also
on Bali you can buy coconuts and drink their very tasty water. They are everywhere! It is
a good refreshment and they are really cheap and healthy. In the evening you can
also try balinese beer called Bintang. It is a lager beer and it tastes good to
their spicy food (although I am not the biggest fan of beers). Another one is Bali Hai, also really good. Overall, balinese food is very spicy and you have to be
careful with spicy meals. On our first evening we went to a typical
balinese restaurant to taste the food. Many various meals were served in small
portions so we could taste everything. Of course, there were a few types of
rice and vegetables. And as the main meal there was chicken served on a
little grill for everyone. It was soooo tasty! Another day
we went to a burger restaurant to try their vegan black burger. It was a vegan
burger patty between black burger buns. Something I didn't know earlier and for
me a weird taste. Also the fruits on Bali are very exotic and sometimes very
weird. For example: the durian. It smells terrible and it also tastes terrible
but the Balinese people love it. For us, it
may be weird but in my opinion, it is always interesting to try something totally
different and new.
And the last thing I would like to mention is the famous coffee from Bali-. Kopi Luwak Have you ever heard about it? It is a coffee that consists of digested coffee cherries, which have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet. And it is suprisingly good!
That was everything about my trip to Bali. I hope you
enjoyed it and let's see where to go next time!
Bye :)
