Hello everyone!
It is beginning to look like Christmas, don't you think? Have you already dived in festive warm atmosphere? Because I have!
Every year I'm trying to visit one Christmas Market in Europe. This time I decided to go to Scotland. I chose Edinburgh for my trip and I can honestly admit that it was the best choice I could make. Edinburgh impressed me also like a city (but about all the things you can see and do there I will write in another post).
This Christmas Market is located in the heart of the city and is open during 7 weeks (from November till January). It is definitely the most romantic Christmas Market I have ever seen. You can find there many traditional Christmas items, for example: handicrafts, glassballs or candles. Being there, you should also try traditional food: Scotch pie, and drink mulled wine, mulled beer or traditional Scoottish whisky. You should also have fun on amusement park and ride on the Big Wheel, or ride on the Star Flyer (which is nearly 60 meters high). In the end, I recommend you to go on Silent Light which is the spectacular street of light and silent disco. You can enjoy the time there singing and dancing under a spectacular lights synchronised to music on your headphones.
I am sure that you will fall in love with Edinburgh and feel the Christmas spirit there. Don't waste your time! Scotland is waiting for you! :)
