Welcome to Hungary!

Hi everyone!

Do you know any place where you always want to go but but at the same time you have never been there? I think each of us knows it. One of my dreamt place in Europe was Budapest. And finally, this year I went there! In this post I would like to share with you my experience and tell you what you should see when you are there only for the weekend.

I started my trip from climbing to the top of Gellert Hill. It is a 235m high hill located in the centre of city. At the top of the hill is the Citadella where you can see skyline of Danube River and almost the whole Budapest. Frankly speaking, it made me striking impression.

Obviously, another point to see is Chain Bridge which spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, that is, the western and eastern sides of the capital city of Hungary. However, I recommend you to visit also other bridges because each of them offers awesome views.

It is impossible to miss the most famous building of Hungary- the Parliament of Budapest. It is the largest building in Hungary and the tallest in Budapest. Half of Parliament is available for tourists and you can buy an excursion with guide. Unfortunatelly, there is no polish guide but it's a good reason to learn foreign languages. ;)

Your question could be- and what about any places to eat and drink anything? I can definitelly recommend you all the tipical restaurants with hungarian food. You should try a Langos there- a deep fried dough which is eaten fresh or warm without any topings or topped with cheese, ham, sour cream, sausages, onions or mushrooms. After all, everyone should go to ruin pub which is hot spot currently. They are located in old, abandoned buildings in downtown Pest. Maybe it doesn't sound very encouraging but that unique atmosphere causes that you will spend unforgettable time.

And what about you? Do you have any experience from Hungary? I would like you to share them with me.

See you soon!

I am so thankful to them for enthuse me their interests (that is also why i decided to start language studies) because thanks to them I can tell you my stories. This blog will be for everyone who loves adventure and is not afraid of getting to know other cultures. Inasmuch as last year I have had a gap year after 3 years of studying Spanish Philology, I have visited many cities (ones of them are typical tourist places but the others less popular). I can't wait to start our journey to many        jaw-dropping places!
